buying online CLS parts
I am a newbie when it comes to modifying cars, and I found Steve Krabbenborg through mbworld.org. I am so happy I did! I have just started down the path of improving my 2006 Mercedes, and I couldn't have found a better person to work with than Steve. My first modifications entail the installation of updated mirrors and taillamps on my CLS 55 AMG; I was told by others these modifications weren't possible, but Steve came through (impossible doesn't seem to be in his vocabulary), and I've just ordered the mirrors and taillamps (both with LED arrow indicators) from him. With Steve, I can get the European taillamps with the amber LED indicators instead of the red LED indicators that are normally supplied to the US market. Which is exactly what I wanted! Steve and Wanda were extremely patient and friendly with all my emailed questions. I am very detail-oriented, and the process of gathering information was facilitated by Steve's and Wanda Klein Gunnewiek's prompt (and educational) replies, no small consideration since we did all our communication online. It is rare to find an expert who is as knowledgeable and as willing both to share that knowledge and to be available to help as Steve. I can't wait to receive the mirrors and tailllamps, and only wish Steve were able to install them himself! I know from perusing this site as well as reading others' threads on mbworld.org that when Steve installs modifications, the job runs quickly, smoothly, and pleasantly. Luckily for me, Wanda has just informed me that Steve has generously offered to provide guidance to my bodyshop installers if they need it. Next time I'll be sure to time my modifications to conform with Steve's schedule in California, since I'm in San Diego, so that he can do the installations himself. I haven't even received the mirrors and tailllamps, and I'm already a happy customer! I'll post again when the modifications are installed, but those reading this who are contemplating working with Steve and Wanda may rest assured that their needs will be met in a friendly, prompt, and professional manner.

Many thanks for the great services and the good performance of the after sales. All the upgrades (complete new black interior with ventilated, dynamic and massage front chairs, original MB television tuner, original MB burglar alarm system, Dutch speaking Linguatronic, original MB stand heater, new xenon active headlights, electric backtrunk with two additional locks, change of the third brake light due to water problems, change to a blue tooth carkit, reactivated tire pressure system, replacement of the battery control unit, replacement of the right outside mirror with the parking functionality, steel plate motor bottom protection, replacement of the motor hood isolation) and repairs are processed in one shop and that all without any problems, no damaged parts or interior, clean installation and a replacement car for the time of installation) are installed on the original (clips & clamps) way. Nothing is forced placed in a not original way! Only MB original factory materials are used. And finally, the car will be cleaned out & inside returned to you as a customer!

Certainly next year is certainly scheduled the AMG backsite upgrade (bumper & exhausts), all brakes to AMG and some other parts/ accessories. 

I'll highly recommend worldwide (Steve has many WW customers) Steve and also his father as a MB upgrade & repair center. They are so customer friendly and service minded.

Steve has done multiple mods to my 2004 W211 over the years. His work is always impeccable, quick and clean. You'd never know he had your car half taken apart. The email communication via Wanda is always second to none also. Better work at better prices than any dealer. I've recommended him multiple times.

When it comes to Mercedes Benz, MBenzNL is the only way to go. MBUSA & some local Mercedes Benz Dealers here in USA use's MBenzNL. Most of the works are done for Fletcher Jones Motorcars (Mercedes Benz).
